Community Information

The City of Richland - Richland is a great place to live as well as to visit.  It changed from a small farm community to a growing city as a result of the World War II Manhattan Project.  Today it hosts a Washington State University Branch Campus, and a National Laboratory.  It is situated on the banks of the Columbia River and much of its waterfront is lined with parks.  Check out the city webpage for more information!

Tri-Cities Visitor and Convention Bureau - Three neighboring cities, Richland, Kennewick and Pasco, are known as the Tri-Cities.  Together with nearby smaller towns such as West Richland, Finley, and Burbank, they form the greater Tri-Cities area, home to some 200,000 people.  The cities are clustered around the conjunction of the Columbia, Snake, and Yakima Rivers.  Lewis and Clark stopped here briefly after following the Snake River on their journey west.  Now the rivers bring life to an otherwise dry climate.  Boating, water-skiing, fishing and golf are all popular pastimes in the Tri-Cities.
